Lanco Picked to Deliver Advanced Automation for New Automotive Assembly Program

Westbrook, ME – [October, 2025] – Lanco, a global leader in custom turnkey automation and testing solutions, has been awarded a large contract by a major Tier 1 automotive manufacturer to design, build, and implement a comprehensive automated system for the assembly of a new automotive solenoid valve used in the suspension systems in next Gen Electric Long-haul trucks.

The solution combines operator-assisted processes with fully automated stations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality across the entire production line. Parts are tracked and verified at every stage with integrated vision systems, sensors, and RFID technology. The system incorporates a variety of precision assembly processes and end-of-line functional testing to ensure that every component meets rigorous automotive standards before it is released for use.
