LANCO Awarded Contract to Deliver Precision Automation System for Fortune 50 Automotive OEM Company

[March 2026] — Lanco announced today that it has been awarded a contract to design and build a precision automation production system for a Fortune 50 automotive OEM company. The program will support a critical production application and reflects continued investment in advanced manufacturing technologies that improve quality, repeatability, and throughput in a critical part of their manufacturing.

The custom system will be engineered as a multi-station automation platform that brings together robotic handling, indexed transfer, precision assembly processes, in-line inspection, leak testing, and electrical verification within a single integrated solution. Designed for a demanding automotive environment, the system will support controlled part movement, process accuracy, and in-process quality confirmation while maintaining flexibility for production requirements.
