Westbrook, ME – [August, 2025] – Lanco, a global leader in precision engineering and turnkey automation and testing solutions, has been awarded a major contract by a leading automotive manufacturer to design and build a fully automated system for the assembly of an innovative new solenoid valve. The project underscores Lanco’s expertise in delivering high-speed, high-precision automation for complex, multi-component assemblies in demanding industries.

Seamless Automation from Component Handling to Final Packaging
The new assembly line will use RFID-tracked pallets to move products through each stage of the process, enabling complete traceability and real-time production monitoring. Advanced robotics, gantry systems, and high-speed pick-and-place technology will handle and assemble multiple precision components.

The system’s capabilities will include precision part handling & assembly, integrated quality verification using vision systems and sensors, automated identification & traceability, part sorting, and final inspection for quality compliance.
